(Reported by Su Ming from Strip Rolling Institute and Qin Luyu from XHET) At the beginning of the New Year 2025, Indian High-precision Intelligent Copper Cold Rolling Mill jointly undertook by Sino-heavymach’s Strip Rolling Equipment Institute (Strip Rolling Institute for short) and Sino-heavymach’s wholly-owned subsidiary Xi 'an Heavy Equipment & Technology Co., Ltd. (XHET for short) was signed the EP Contract. The project includes the engineering, supply, installation guidance, commissioning, training, and other work of 800mm 4-high roughing mill, 800mm 4-high intermediate mill, and 800mm 6-high finishing mill. This project is Sino-heavymach’s another project covering the engineering and complete set supply of all roughing, intermediate, and finishing units of copper strip cold rolling line after Jiangxi Yuntai, Anhui Zhongyuan, Jiangxi Yunsheng and Fujian Guangmin roughing, intermediate, and finishing rolling mills.

Three mills of this project could cover a wide variety of rolling materials, including copper, brass and high-copper alloys. The product thickness span is large, and the plate thickness and shape accuracy of the product are high. The project is adopted a series of key technologies such as digital intelligent human-machine remote interaction platform, high-precision copper strip rolling thickness control system, wide precision strip shape fine control system, high-efficiency oil removal system for precision strip all-oil rolling, one-key speed up/automatic speed down reversing rolling technology, extra-large grinding volume roll arrangement optimization design, safety isolation modular design of cold rolling unit, and no-dead zone switching of working roll and positive and negative bending roll. At the same time, it will further optimize the production process and upgrade the technical equipment of copper strip rolling, improve the quality and accuracy of copper strip products, and solve the core pain points of users in the production process. 

In order to implement the work deployment of Sinomach-he to expand overseas markets, in recent years Sino-heavymach has achieved remarkable results in international business promotion. After the successful commissioning of JINDAL stainless steel annealing and pickling line, this time Sino-heavymach signed this important rolling equipment project contract in the same country. This is not only the landmark outcome from Sino-heavymach's persistent deepening and steady expansion in this potential market of India, but also demonstrates the outstanding technical strength and strong brand influence of Sino-heavymach in the global steel rolling field. This cooperation is the first high-precision copper strip rolling mill independently researched and developed by Sino-heavymach exported to foreign countries, which has laid a solid foundation for future continuous expansion in the overseas non-ferrous metallurgy market, especially in the overseas high-precision copper strip rolling mill market.
