Recently, China National Heavy Machinery Research Institute Co., Ltd. (Sino-heavymach for short) Plate and Strip Finishing and Processing Research Institute of Steel Rolling Division has completed #12 automobile exterior plate recoiling inspection line of Cold Rolling Operation Department from Shougang Jingtang United Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. (Shougang Jingtang for short), and its first coil was off the line successfully. The success of this project not only further consolidated the leading position of Sino-heavymach in Shougang Jingtang’s finishing processing share, but also demonstrated the technical background and market competitiveness of Sino-heavymach in the aspect of automotive plate finishing processing.
The #12 automobile exterior plate recoiling inspection line built by Shougang Jingtang is dedicated to upgrade the production capacity of high-end automobile exterior plate, and address the bottleneck of recoiling production capacity. This unit is integrated with multiple functions of strip side trimming, inspection, oiling, recoiling, and dividing, and realized the full automation of coil shifting, loading, paying off, trimming, chopping, and unloading. By optimizing the technological layout, setting the tension roll partition, and adopting the subsection tension force control technology, the constant tension force of the strip has been guaranteed under different operating conditions of this line, and the scratch on the strip surface could be effectively prevented. Under the joint action of advanced equipment and exquisite technology, the unit significantly improved the working efficiency of the operator, improved the production quality and stability of the automobile exterior plate, and reached the industrial leading level.
Since the signing of Contract, Sino-heavymach relied on a strong project team, kept the principle of constructing a "high-quality model project", well-organized for design, manufacturing, erection, commissioning and other phases, and closely cooperated with the project owner and other cooperative companies, in this case the project could achieve the goal of starting from contract signing to the first coil coming off the line only within eight months, which has earned high praise from the client.
