Recently, the third National Machinery Industry Product Quality Innovation Competition award ceremony was held in Hangzhou. Sino-heavymach’s "Green and High-efficiency RH Vacuum Refining Equipment System Development and Application" project won the gold medal, "Deep-sea Pipeline 200MPa Ultra-high Water Pressure Equipment", and "Practice of PDCA Management Circle Application and Technical Quality Innovation in Fenglu Extrusion Press Project" won the silver awards.
This year's National Machinery Industry Product Quality Innovation Competition is hosted by China Machinery Industry Federation (CMIF) and China National Machinery Industry Corporation (SINOMACH). Sino-heavymach’s three award-winning projects are strictly executed as per the requirements of the three-standard system in the execution and implementation process, generated a serial of product quality process documentations that are traceable during the whole life cycle of the product, and guaranteed the comprehensive quality and final performance of the project equipment.
Green and High-efficiency RH Vacuum Refining Equipment System Development and Application Project
The project includes three innovative technologies, i.e. the first is the four-stage steam vacuum pump system calculation model, the second is the vacuum pump "adjustment needle" design and control model, and the third is the three-ladle-car double-processing-station RH high-efficiency production arrangement design. After the technology was applied into practice, the equipment ran stably, the metallurgical effect was good, and the production cost was greatly reduced. All related technologies were applied in 11 projects. The application of this technology breaks the long-term foreign monopoly situation of high-end vacuum refining equipment and key technologies, and plays a foundation and leading role in the development of China's equipment with independent intellectual property rights.
200MPa Ultra-high Water Pressure Test Equipment Project
This project encompasses four innovative technologies. The first is the steel pipe water pressure testing ultra-high-pressure boosting technology integrated with the ultra-high-pressure booster and the water filling device, the second is the 200MPa ultra-high pressure step-wise pressure boosting technology for steel pipe water pressure test, the third is the die sealing for 10-15mm gap at the end of 200MPa ultra-high pressure steel pipe, and the fourth is the 200MPa ultra-high-pressure control technology with 0.5% test pressure accuracy of the steel pipe water pressure test. After put into production, the equipment was operated stably with good performance, also filling the domestic gap in this field.
Fenglu Extrusion Press Project
Fenglu Extrusion Press Project is adopted PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) management circle approach, and made technological innovations in three aspects. Firstly, utilizing the proportional variable pump + high-frequency response proportional valve and servo valve hydraulic control system to establish a speed control model, and precisely control the extrusion speed, also the press is functioned with ultra-low speed extrusion capabilities. Secondly, the extrusion cylinder is applied with the intelligent heating-up combined with air cooling, and the die was equipped with heating-up and heat preservation facilities. Through temperature detection and a closed-loop control system, it could achieve simulated isothermal extrusion. Thirdly, employing the differential linkage running technology between the extrusion cylinder and the extrusion rod, significantly reducing non-extrusion time, and the extrusion press movement is simple, fast, and reliable. Compared with the domestic similar equipment, the average power consumption per ton of material decreased by more than 5%, maintenance costs and labour intensity lowered by over 10%, and the equipment downtime for maintenance reduced by more than 10%.
This competition is themed as "Adhering to Principles and Innovation, Winning the Future with Quality ". It takes the innovation as the primary driving force, so as to promote the quality improvement in the aspect of the industrial chain and supply chain, boost the digital and intelligent transformation of traditional industries and their low-carbon transition, and foster the growth of emerging industries and future industries. It also aims to accelerate the advancement of new industrialization, develop new quality productivity, and make greater contributions to the high-quality development of the machinery industry.
